As a woman it is important to know and understand your body, your mood and yourself.

It is not just about ensuring you have taken care of your family, friends, pets, and others around you, but also ensuring you take care of yourself.  So many ladies forget to take a moment, and sometimes it does just need to be a moment, for yourself.

In these busy, hectic, and stressful times there are many things that you can do to take care of yourself, including to keep active and eat healthy. Other suggestions including to take a walk in a park, make a homemade granola bar that is full of healthy ingredients, or maybe enjoy a relaxing cup of tea.

It’s important to also ensure that your physical and mental health are well taken care of. It is important to know your blood pressure and cholesterol levels and understand any changes to your body. Take some time to book an appointment with your doctor to have a Breast Screen or Cervical Screening Test. Mental Health should be a priority during stressful times. If you are anxious or worried make time to speak with a professional. 

The 21st century can also be difficult to navigate, with continual phone calls, emails, social media messages and streaming channels, it is important to take a digital break. Enjoy an evening relaxing under the stars relaxing with friends and family, or some quiet time by yourself.  Just remember to be in the moment!  

As a mother, daughter, spouse, or friend, you still need to take care of yourself.
