Have you heard the news? The Bone Bus is returning to Toowoomba Medical Centre for 1 week from the 19th April 2021 – 23rd April 2021.
This service, offered by Measure Up, offers a bulk billed Dexa Scan for patients over the age of 70 years to determine their risk of having, or developing Osteoporosis.
Osteoporosis is a condition of the body which causes the bones to become weak and brittle. There are no symptoms to identify osteoporosis prior to either having a scan of the bones, or after a fracture.
The process of having a scan is quite easy. The process takes only a few minutes and you do not need to get undressed or fast for the consultation.
