How Are We Going?

The start of 2020 saw the staff of Toowoomba Medical Centre planning for a fun and exciting year, looking forward to the changes that we could implement for the betterment of patients and staff.  However, COVID-19 arrived in March and all our plans were put aside.  Overnight the practice went from planning for the next 6 months to not knowing what might change in the next 6 hours.

Despite all the changes that occurred, and the speed at which they happened, we have managed to make it through, learn a lot from the experience, reevaluate the services that our patients needed to get through these times and most of all, together, as a team, we have grown stronger.

However, none of this would have occurred if our patients, both existing and new, were not willing and able to accept the changes that were implemented so quickly and helped to make it an easier process for all our staff.

Our doctors, nurses and reception staff have been amazing throughout all these changes, but the biggest thanks go to our patients.  Thank you for being accepting, understanding and most of all patient.

As things begin to return to some form of “normal”, we will again begin planning for changes to the practice and we will keep you up to date.  For now, stay happy, stay healthy and stay safe.

Thank you!
