Changing of the Nursing Guard

This month, our nursing team will undergo a changing of the guard.

At the end of November, we will be saying farewell to Libby, who has been a part of the practice for over 3 years. During her time with Toowoomba Medical Centre, Libby has been energetic and enthusiastic in her role at the practice. From helping patients understand their chronic condition, doing health assessments or assisting during an excision, Libby has undertaken her duties with flair.  Her laughter and good-natured humour will be missed by her colleagues and patients alike. We wish her all the best in her retirement.

When one door closes, another one opens: as the saying goes. With that, we would like to welcome Felicity to our nursing team. Felicity has recently completed her studies at the University of Southern Queensland and is a Toowoomba region local.  Over the past few weeks, Felicity has been undertaking training in the practice alongside our long-term nurses and has been welcomed by staff and patients alike.  We look forward to seeing Felicity grow into the role of a practice nurse at Toowoomba Medical Centre and wish her all the best.
